In 1990, the National Science Museum moved to the Daedeok Science Town.
Since then it took on a role of a national science museum that collect,
preserve, research, exhibit and educate on the subject of engineering, industrial technology, science, technology, and nature.
The museum occupies space of about 49,862㎡. with exhibition area of 16,740㎡. and various science and culture facilities such as space science park, water science park.
